Stupid question - is there a material difference in the 1-up performance of the 120hp and 85hp?
Still don't know which mode of travelling is best!

"Stupid question - is there a material difference in the 1-up performance of the 120hp and 85hp"

There is a monumental difference between the two - like night and day. I had the 4 cylinder 85 hp and whilst it was awesome, the big 6 just kicked the s*** out of it in performance. 35hp difference,,, yes...., there is a big difference. Cruise speed doesn't necessarily rise a lot (10 knots) as its a high drag plane but the climb rate, STOL etc is brilliant.

That said, dependent on your needs for patch flying on a Sunday PM you would go a long way to find something more fun. Spectacular little planes...

I have personally flown this plane and it is an exceptional example. Good luck with the sale, if only I had 175k lying around.
