Hi T-man, dit is nou die plan. Eers het ek gedink om haar te verkoop, maar het nou besluit om haar maar vir eers self te vlieg. Hierdie Foxie het n paar baie spesiale mods vanaf die Kitfox fabriek, en dit maak hierdie vligtuig uniek.
Only if someone comes along with a really worthwhile offer will I consider selling, in fact the offer will have to be so good that I would WANT to sell
Wanneer kom kuier jy weer, jy kan ook in ry
Jean.

By an unexpected, and welcome turn of events I again have the 618 Rotax engine back , that came with the Kitfox. Now the thought is to maybe put it in the Foxie and have a very good performer. I am not that familiar with the 618, what say the clever folks with some real experience behind the 618 ? Is it as good and reliable an engine as the trusty 582 ?

Regarding the 618 Rotax, I must add it was checked out by Louis Van Wyk and is indeed still brand new , as it was never run before. The engine was well preserved with all openings closed off. Only some minor external rubber parts were replaced, Louis started and ran the motor , which he said is truly in excellent condition (^^) (^^) There is an "E-box" on the engine with a 3:1 ratio, also still new. I have bought a Warp-Drive 3 blade taper tip from a fellow Microlighter which is a left hand tractor, and intend to use this with the 618.

I hope to have the build number before CAA closes. This Fox MUST be flying by the time my Bushbaby goes back to its Parents at KFA early next year.
If the build nr is issued then, the rest will go quite fast
