Thanks Stefan,
It is a good way for me keeping track about the project since I live in Thailand and also for the valuable inputs from
aviators with more experience.
Definite inflight trim.
Fairings and spats? I am not sure.
Definite a transponder.

Yes I will export this plane to Thailand later.
Will go to aviation events here in Thailand for people to see it.
I might get a few orders for this type of plane.
If not then no problem I will still use it.

Hi Johnorr,

Now we are talking! Congratulations on the Explorer purchase, it is a fantastic aircraft (!!)

When I started my flying, the instructor advised that we hire a Bushbaby and do up to solo training in it before starting on the Rans S10.

Are you going to do the same?

Yes sure Thys,
I need some taildragger experience when Explorer is done and ready then I will visit SA for a month and do the training .
The S 10 is not a beginner tail dragger.I might also seek some training on S 10 before I fly it. May be visit
Rans factory and do my type rating there for the S 10.Then I will fly my own S 10.

I also think the Explorer is a nice plane to have.

I got a Quicksilver now I flew it the past year and real nice experience but you cannot go anywhere with it.
it is good for sight seeing but it is not so comfortable and not so nice to go to a aviation event.
I got the S 10 cheap and I love this kind of plane but if I have a explorer too then I am better of.
Then I got a plane for my feeling how I want to fly the S 10 like a sports car and the Explorer for
a more relaxed flight.
