FINALLY, FINALLY.
Piet Fourie said I will have my ATF tomorrow. I even have someone there to collect it for me. The next stage, will be to have a check out flight with Dawie Du toit, as soon as he gets here, and if the wind allows.
Been over a year now to get all the legalities sorted.

Hi Vernon,

I'm so happy for you my friend. At last! I'm sure you'll have much fun again. Life is empty without flying...

Cheers,

Henni

I'm not quite there... seems the wheels turn just as slowly here in the big smoke... but I will know more tomorrow...

I am hoping to get a project near Kevins place soon, and if I do you can spend the logbook money on fuel to come and visit.

Chat soon

Hi Vernon.

Can't wait to see the cowling. I refitted the auxiliary fuel tanks today. When I reassembled the challenger after transporting it from PE I left them out. Wished I left them in. Lot of graft. Now I've got an extra fifty litres. Can make it to you on one tank now.:)

Regards.

Freddie.
That looks really good. I don't think there would be a problem to modify the cowling to fit the tank filler neck. I will take a close up picture of the plug, to show where the neck will be, but will have to send to you direct, as no matter how many peoples advise on sending pics on the forum, I just cannot do it.
