Finally: MY own Bushbaby Explorer

Postby Boet » Wed Apr 21, 2010 7:28 pm

At long last, I am now once again building an Explorer for myself. I have everything I need to complete the project. The work on the fuselage stands on 45 hours, and the wings were completed in about 5 working days. It will be flight ready within the next two weeks or so.

Dankie spikes. As jy weer kom kuier, maak ons hom vol petrol en gaan speel hom leeg! Today I had a LOT of interference, so only managed the engine installation.... well most of ot anyway. Got to leave for the Fairest at first sparrows tomorrow. Damned uncivilized to be driving when you could have been flying. (^^)

Hey Boet.

She is looooking very good.

Will this be a record from start to flight for a Bushbaby?

What prop are you using if not a PProp.

Thanks for your kind remarks. I am just back from the Fairest. Spent some time with the gang at Morningstar. The weather was fan-tastic, no wind, not a cloud in a flawless blue sky....... but nary an aeroplane flying. No Ferkin Flying Zone thx to FIFA. Bastards. Even to cops in a cop-van parked there to see nobody fly. Instead of going after the brother bastewards who flung a rock at one of the members as he was driving out the gate, no doubt a planned hijack or robbery attempt. But that is bugger-all

Rant off. Tomorrow I am planning on starting to cover the wings and no, we are not trying to set a new record time for assembling a BB, just hauling arse, in a quiet spell to get my own plane completed. vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy Prop is a P-Prop of course, what else?? (^^)
