Semi-final inspection this morning. Short snag list of 10 items that should take one afternoon to sort out, and then it is off to the airfield...

Had a very productive morning visiting Rhino Park. Mostly thanks to Rudix's ground work (thanks again Rudix):
1) My hangar will be open soon.
2) I have a test pilot (who is more than happy to test fly from Rhino).
3) I have organised scales and tensiometers (for W&B and cable set up).
4) I have organised an instrument tech who will do the initial check out on all the radios and instruments.

Basically everything is sorted!

Just have to hit the snag list, and start processing paper work!

Just spoke to him yesterday, seeing as he is also my test pilot. Will be measuring up when he inspects next week, and making the decals ;) .

No pics yet. Was a long night clearing the last of the snag list, followed by a VERY long day loading driving and offloading.

My regular trailer (the only 2.2m wide trailer I have ever found) was out, so it took a lot of blood sweat and tears to load the plane onto a narrow trailer, and strap it to some crosswise planks. And more blood sweat and tears to get it off. (For some reason I am feeling a little dehydrated now ;) .)

Finally got to Rhino Park at around 16h45B, and found the place just about deserted! Absolutely stunning conditions, and just the school plane, and one CTLS enjoying it - what is happening to the Rhino guys??? I would at least have expected to see Rudix there, having a ball... I don't think I have ever NOT seen him there ;) . Hopefully I will be there soon to keep an eye on you guys vhpy .

Anyway, had it offloaded by around 17h30, and just for the hell of it, fired her up and taxied to the hangar. Was great to have her moving under her own steam, but I am a bit worried, as she was not running well at all... Will need to have a good look tomorrow, and see what is wrong.

Will be bringing the wings, and starting final assembly tomorrow! Hopefully do some photies too...

BTW is the reg FSR a legacy from the OS FSR model engines form the '80s ? If so it should be a very reliable plane ;)
