Awwwweee shweeet! Whisky Rum Hotel!

Wonder why this spinner is yellow? Could it be that it was "stolen" off WRH?

Hi Guys,

Nice to see some info on the Koalas again.
The webiste mentioned is very old and I don't think it has been updated.
I too have a Koala which has necver flown as it has never been completed yet.
It is my project (on the backburner for a while already). It does not help having a airworthy plane at the same time.

Don't give up the idea of the Koala owners getting together, I think it is a matter of time before they all have read or heard about the kuier.

I will be keeping an eye out on this thread.

Cheers.

It was indeed after he started his VW project but this was my plane before I sold it to Paul and I did that VW installation as you see it on the pic. Picture snapped by me inside my hangar and taken off the Koala website, which used to be administered by the Late Ken Willis.

Do not use plexiglass ! they have changed the specs.
It will slit your throat.
I know because I profile cut that crap.
use Polycarbonate, it is also self extinguishing in fire and is tough as hell.

Installation on Koala?
The Koala flexes. drill larger holes and if you can, place grommets and cup washers
Let it move baby !

Word of warning: if the top part of your windscreen becomes detached?
You are i big trouble !.. I know
