report back - part 24

Postby lamercyfly » Wed Nov 14, 2007 11:22 am

Hi folk.

I was not sure whether to post this under the legislative section or here.

Anyway, not important, me thinks...........

I have had lovely, supportive and pro-active informal meetings with so many folk now, both face-to-face and telephonic. This has ranged from individual pilots to owners of some of the biggest training schools in SA. I am very confident that this mess is going to be sorted out in such a way that we will NOT be illegal on 1 Jan 2008.

I am meeting with Neill (aero club) again tomorrow evening before the EAA workshop.

I am flying home on Friday morning, so will summarise my thoughts on things sometime on Friday, and post them on this forum...........

To all of you who have PM'd me support, if things get heavy handed from the officials, then your support is going to be called on.

Talk later,
David Daniel
