SICK AND TIRED OF RAASA!!!

Postby marcelmatusik » Thu Nov 17, 2016 8:43 pm

Is anyone else owning a CCM or LSA plane tired of the poor service and dysfunctional RAASA?? Or is it just me??
I am just simply frustrated and disappointed with this organisation, and especially Pierre and the other "Top Dogs"!
It makes what is supposed to be recreational fun, simply a drag and frustrating.

When bureaucracy get outsourced to an entity whose only reason for existence is the bureaucracy and who can only benefit from the extension of that bureaucracy...

Hello marcelmatusik.

What exactly is the problem, I don't recall having any e-mail or conversation or dealing with any application that has upset you in this way.
In fact I don't even know who you are.

Please feel free to call me on 011 082 1000 or 0845012177.

Regards
Pierre

This year I thought I'd give RAASA the benefit of the doubt, but it seems as if it is de ja vu all over again.

Posted (postnet) my ATFs on 20/4, has been ready for collection since 24/4.

Emailed them. No response to two emails.

Phoned them, am told the person manning the info@raasa.co.za email address is on leave. What is the point of listing (the only) an email address on website when this will not be answered.

Oh, I long for the days when CAA handled all of this.

For what it is worth, I have never had any problem dealing with the front ladies at RAASA - Always polite, prompt and efficient. On two occasions my dealings have moved to the back office and all has been dealt with in a very amicable manor.

In fact the I can say the same for CAA with the exception of Prompt!

I guess one must follow the rules and make sure your paperwork is in order.

Picked up my wsm license yesterday.
Handed in the paper work just after 8 and picked up the book at 9:45 eventhough their system was offline.
The ladies were polite friendly and receptive.
Helped me check all the paper work was in order and my logbook was good, paid them and that was it.
No complaints from my side.
