MISASA 2014 subscription

Postby KlapperKnop » Fri Nov 15, 2013 3:08 pm

Receiving and e-mail from AERO club SA for 2014 subscription; do we pay both AERO and MISASA together on the website or do we pay MISASA seperately?

Hi Chaps

On the FUNDI system kindly pay both AEROCLUB (R350) & MISASA (R390)

We decided as an incentive to leave the MISASA subs at R 390-00 until the 8th February 2014 (when the draw takes place for one lucky paid up member for 2014 to Oshkosh 2014) or to the date of the AGM 2014 where it can then be decided.

Tedderfield 2014 could very well be set as the date of the AGM.

Hi Misasa,

I don't know if you're aware , be when going to your website (misasa.co.za , or misasa.org , it re-routes http://www.weboonline.com/misasa/home.php

Unfortunately there appears to be same script thats appears to be a virus (or unsafe ) , my browser and anti-virus are going crazy and the site has been reported as harmful.

I'm I then only one experiencing this ?

Just paid my earoclub and misasa membership. Have been a member for 4years with the same member number, now i see a different one was allocated, could not find a place on the info page to enter my member number. Found the fundi system working well. I only hope that this year i would get my membership card and a couple of magazines, not like last year.
Have been a member of EAA aswell and they have not missed one monthly magazine and recieved membership card within a month of joining. Just saying

Morne, pm your e-mail address as it differs from last year! I also find it strange that as you say you have been a member of EAA but it does not reflect on the Fundi record.

Further, we only gave out the 2 mags last year with the December issue making up with 208 pages. The committee thus decided that we will only give out one bumper thick magazine again this year and rather focus on monthly newsletters.

To members wanting to renew and have not received their Fundi renewal link, please e-mail me or Thelma before you log on and create a new record. It really causes a lot headaches and of course duplication.

Also, the new numbers run sequentially and your ID number is way more important!

Hi John, thanks for the quick responce with the member certificate. To comment about the email part, i have been recieving your monthly newsletter last year without fail, and certainly would not change my email for no reason. Maybe you got me confused with someone else. Maybe the guys at fundi should add an info bar on your daitail list for a member number where you can add your number with the other details when you submit your creditcard details. Im sure that should also restrict confusion.

Thanks once again

On the contrary Morne, I'm not confused.

I am curious as to how you did your renewal - did you log on via the Aeroclub website link or did you use the renewal link that was e-mailed to you?

Hi John! I went to the earoclub website, then found the misasa link, went to that site and found the "how to join /fees" button then clicked on the Pay here tab which popped me over to the fundi site where i ticked misasa together with earoclub and paid. I only see now on the top left of the earoclub site is a renew membership tab. But this is not the problem. If had submitted the wrong email address, how was it possable that i recieved a membership certificate so promptly to the right email address? This is my question.

If this process is followed, then a new membership record is created - duplication! We now have to compile the list of people that have followed this process and "merge" the records.

As for receiving the certificate - did you get it directly from Aeroclub or is it the one I sent you? Your original post basically implies you never received it.

No no not at all John, the fundi experience was quick and works well. The responce with certificate came from you. I apologise if i used the wrong rout to pay subbs. Maybe if there is more people making this mistake we should look at making the membership renewal link at the top of the list on both sites as i work with machines every day and get home tired and only glanced over the sight and spotted membership payment and followed the link. Guess there isnt enough hrs in the day to get home at 6and then stil have time to thoroughly read through the sites stuff too. Like i said before, the fundi site works perfect. As for the EAA story, i joined them direct Jan last year end renewed my membership at Oshkosh for 2014, did not know i could do it from the payment link, will keep in mind next year.
