The enthusiasm is contagious guys. I can assure you that the response from the gyro community will be awsome. We have been talking about an event at this location for some time now. A number of pm's have been sent to the gyro fraternity and the response has been excellent. It will be awsome to fly the coast to the Kosi Bay with a mass of gyros.
Regards
Mike

Hi there

There is a group of us, 4 possibly 5 gyros, from the Wetsern Cape coming to this fly-in. This will be the longest trip I have done and looking forward to it immensely! We have sorted out accomodation for most part except for the south coast. We were hoping to stay over at Margate but I spoke to Peet and he says his hangar is full! Is there anyone else who can help us with acomodation and fuel at Margate or surronds? We are planning to leave the 11th and should be at Margate 14th.

This was a realy nice weekend, with an "interesting" flight back to Kitty Hawk.

Thank you to Mike and all the others that arranged this, accommodation was good, food was good and the company even better.

Watching the rugby in Sharks country and winning was the best.

We will surely try to go back next time.

Our flight back to Kitty Hawk was longer that 6 hours due to the wind. (Piet Retief to Ermelo took 2 hours)
