New Gyro coming to SA!

Postby greg vos » Mon Jan 14, 2019 5:24 pm

So Fly Argo (also from Poland) who build what looks like Zen /Xenon gyro along with a copy of what I think is a SANKA two seater Helicopter are bringing a Black Series Gyro into the market. It looks very much like the Xenon we know?
Syed Zoheb has assured me this gyro-copter is in a very different class from a build quality perspective, and is simply the best!

Looking at the cockpit layout they seem to still have the marine cct breakers and I wonder if the new machine will be able to isolate the primary fuel pump? this fuel pump issue was my bug bear so to speak with the Xenons, and I modified one to have independent switches for both fuel pumps, I may go to the facility to check it out vhpy

Absolute Aviation have placed the order and are now the distributor, I have been in talks with the factory guys in Warsaw who say delivery is in the next 12-18 weeks and confirmed this with the rep at Absolute Aviation here locally.

I look forward to seeing it and wish Absolute Aviation all the best with the marketing of this new machine (^^)

It's basically a Xenon. Looking at the performance specs, I would like to see those on the Highveld. The figures do not tally. I do not know what is a 912HP. If it is a normal 912S (100HP), the advertised lifting performance is not possible. If it is a super special turbo something, then the range is not possible. I must say that it looks nice, but why copying the same engine cowling which is a parachute ?
Flying is like dancing, it is a love affair between the pilot and his aircraft
