GYRO FUNDING

Postby jacester » Tue Jul 15, 2014 12:01 pm

I would appreciate some feedback from the Gyronauts. I want to buy myself a Gyro again, and is really battling with funding. All the banks have now moved away from Funding ZU registrations at all.
So being a business owner the asset funding is normally the most Tax effective finance and would be my preferred route. So my options are purely cash or normal personal loan. My cash is working much better in my business for me, so hedging by way of loan is then the way to go. And not buying is not an option!!!!
I have made contact with an institution that has decided in principle to look at Gyro funding specifically.
My question to the Forum is simply.
Is there a demand for this type of funding?
What numbers do we think will benefit by this type of funding.
I would like to use this information as basic research to give through to the Funders.

I think there is a lot of buyers that will be interested, including me. All depends on T&C ;-)

ABSA finances the RAF 2000.

If you are in the market......we can send you the paper work.

No Eben, sorry to have to inform you that all the Banks have stopped funding ZU registration numbers. So if I am wrong please come back to me, but I have phoned them and that is the answer I received.

HI,

I just spoke to the head of aviation finance at ABSA in JNB, who manages all the financing for the RAF 2000 Gyroplane, and he is not aware of this. Please can you let me have the source of the information you have received, in order for us to get to the bottom of the statement made.

Thank you!
Yolande
