Now let's see... Paulus promissed his wife a washing machine / tumble drier if she would let him buy a Calidus. He also promissed her a ski holliday to Italy in exchange for the permission to become the proud owner of a Calidus.  If he does not get his price on the M22 he will not be in a position to honour his commitments to the wyfie. She is no softy believe you me. She is a doctor and you do not mess with those who spend their days brandishing injection needles! Come on guys...help a brother in need
Paulus...if I was in the market for a used 22 I would grab yours because I know what a pain you are when it comes to pampering your gyro. (^^) Tell the wyfie she can book the tickets to the ski resort! vhpy Used M22s are sought after and ones in the condition that yours is are hard to come by. She will be gone within the week at that price! ## ...not the wyfie! The M22

Not because he is my brother I but had the opportunity to fly this baby from Kitty Hawk (where these pictures were taken) to Stellenbosch.

You get good planes and then other hit the sweetspot.

This is one, a very nice Gyro to fly.

Hello Condor how long did this take in flying hours? did you have to stop and overnight? Im thinking of a gyro and am itchy but money is tight the RAF advertised in another post is attractive and its new, from what I can deduce there are varied opinions on the brands?

on your trip down from JHB to the cape what was your average speed?

Sorry to hijack the thread but Im trying to glean as much as I can in a short space of time, as you guys will know its that time of year ...from Dad to Dad and if Im going to spend / lend/ steal money, I would like to investigate options. if I took a 36 month loan (likely) the jump in payment is not significant on 580 or 475? but the seating arrangement is different, will I tire from a friend in the back and not next to me?

phew all the questions

Greetigs Rocket.

Firstly, do not let the $$$$ cloud your judgement or decision. :? The M22 is a VERY nice machine, and the pods have a tremendous amount of space for the hairdryer etc etc.

I know people say it is choice, and no you will NOT tire from having a pax sit behind you. It is actually quite pleasant. Also, your pax in the M22 has got small slots that allow the feet to rest comfortably in the rear of the pods. Really, a very nice machine, and also a very nice machine to fly.

Regards
Ashley
