Hi Yoda

Congrats on your new M16 - that must be a very recent delivery - enjoy your flying.

One other newish gyro is

ZU-RIM ELA 07 - registered at the end of March 2013 - I reckon you've got more ELAs in SA than anywhere else bar Spain - in the region of 55 currently registered.

Regards

Congratulations Jans & Thys! May you have many happy hours flying in her.
(^^)

You're right Steve, I think there are also more Magni's in SA than anywhere else, barring Italy.

Wishing you many happy and safe hours in you M16! I trained with Rainier's blue ZU DJW at Springs, and they are the most forgiving gyro's you will ever find, a truly happy gyro (^^)

Thanx everybody. There has been quite a few upgrades since my previos Magni M22.
This is the M16 C with the carbon fibre body. Its supposed to be lighter than the fiberglass model. I don't know how much, but
the performance of this gyro is very good. Hy klim soos 'n P*%P uit 'n bad uit... :P

They fitted a thermostat. Enjin heating is very quickly compared to the previos one that took forever to heat up.
Oil pressure is also up as soon as you start. The previous one needed a lot of "priming" to get the pressure up.
The also added a very nice handbrake holder.
The 4 point harnass that is now standard on the M16 is a Pain in the G@t, but I suppose one will get used to it.

Hi all, i'm the one who purchased Calidus - ZU - RJX.

Awesome Gyro, everyone who I take flying in is ,always seems to to say "its remarkable how peaceful it is...".
Its kinda like flying your Mercedes, Sports combined with comfort.
Im hangered at morning star in Cape Town.

I would be happy to take any one who is interested in the Calidus or Auto gyro range of Gyros for a flip, so they to can "feel the difference"

Kind regards

Roland
