Well, the long wait is almost over. On March 1st, I leave for Austria and a visit to the Arrow Copter Factory to deliver some "goodies". Then, off to the USA for a week to do some business, and then back to Austria,.........and there I meet up with Johan von Ludwig, and South Africans will get to fly the Arrow Copter.

The real good news is, that this gyro will then be containerised and shipped to SA. So, it should be here some time in April. By this time Hanger 9N at Springs should be completed. Watch this space for an announcement regarding the "official launch" of the Arrow Copter in SA to the Gyro fraternity.

Regards

Ashley hope you will be bringing it to Gariep in may !!!!

Someone from Spain posted some nice gyro flying photos on the SAGPA website (http://www.sagpa.co.za/wgallery.php), including some nice pics of the Arrow Copter flying. I believe Ashley and JvL are busy or did test fly the Arrow Copter in the past week or this week. Ashley I can't wait to see this gyro at Gariep.

Hi All.

I just had some emails from Johan von Ludwig. He is busy helping with the assembly of some Arrow Copters at the factory. The planning is for Ser no 006 and 007 to be comming to South Africa. The intention is then to assemble and test them in our conditions. The build numbers has been allocated and as far as the planning goes, the kits will arrive in approx 6 weeks. As i understand Johan, another 4 weeks will then be needed for the assembly of the kits.

It seems that Wagtail are going to be busy, fairly soon...

Greetings

Lion, I don't think they will have hassles - the Machines will be BCAR-T compliant (if they want to sell any in the UK and if they have half a brain) and will therefore be easily accepted by our CAA. I am looking forward to seeing these new machines and the latest technology in our skies.

PS Lion, time to change your avatar, there is a short cocky fellow here in the Cape that has a machine that looks EXACTLY like your avatar. Tundra tyres and all ...
