For me, best thing since brandy. Much more user- friendly than the 96C and the features are simple yet more effective. Plug in and go.

No need for formal training, especially the EEA effort, but helps if you know someone with one. Just ask questions.

Best bang for the buck in the GPS market. Is one on Avcom for around R7500 I think, else one of the online shops has then for under R10K. SHOP AROUND... and enjoy...

Have it on good authority from Coyote that he managed to aquire a brand new one at aviation engines this weekend. Apparently they have a special on them and theyre avialable at R9,000.

great Gps. thoroughly enjoy mine and would be lost without it - ha ha ha -    - I crack myself up - and no i wouldnt be lost i have a garmin back up and if that fails a map. Although thatch would tell you the furtherest i fly is FAAP - Not true i tell you.. !!!!

R 9,000 sound like a very good deal to me...
Good luck

Challenge the dealers. Give them a chance for a best cash offer and you'd be suprised, even from those 'expensive' okes. :)

If you dont fly further than FAAP A Nuvi 200 is good.... it will tell you to make a u-turn when you fly in the wrong direction
The Etrex is excellent backup :!:

Does Coyote actually fly or does he prefer to spend his time buying and selling toys?

He's had everything from flexwings, to gyro's to fixed wings and trikes... latest is his Quantum but does he FLY?
I think the last time he flew was around the peninsula in a Magni with me about a year ago... (front seat nogal)

(expecting ## )

Ha Ha, the Quantum's in pieces and the fixed wing is gathering dust, I think he and Dish (aka Skottel) are seeing which one (Rans or Bantum) will turn brown the quickest.

Listen you little egg beating woosie - vhpy vhpy vhpy ($$) ($$) ($$)

DO NOT generalise. Correct the quantam is in pieces but thats because greg is doing a great job of putting her back together having done a beautiful "overhaul" - should be ready anytime now......The bantam has been flown extensively recently and in fact (again) will be making the trip to Zebula on Sunday - Depart Aeroden around 8.00 am. Does anyone feel like flying along for a little breakfast ??

(**) Can't argue about Jakkel's workmanship, he does a great job, 50/50 that I will be overhead Aeroden at 8H00 xxx
