Hi Trikenut,

I doubt whether I will be at morningstar tomorrow. Plus I don't think that you guys will be flying either. We must still see for next weekend at vredendal. Hopefully there. Where does the Hitler thing come from??

Ya, we'll probably be flying, Louis says he will fly if the winds are in his comfort zone.
The Hitler thing comes from the fact that Hitler plotted Wargames! vhpy

Lovely flight!!!!
Got to Fisantekraal at about 8:00am and got ready to fly!
We ran throught the preflight and what Louis would teach me before going flying!
As we were about to get into the trike ZU-TCT was pushed out of the hanger and Anton called Louis over to help with is radio on his Aerotrike Cobra! A Lovely aerie!!! vhpy
We taxied to the holding point of runway 05, lined up (with me in the front) and took off!
We flew all over the area, from the Silos near FAFK to near Wintervoegel!!
There was SOOOOOO much traffic and there was almost always a cross-transmission!!
We practised holding altitude, heading and speed, there was a slight wind that blew ZU-CAK to the SE (I think!). I took a while to master the altitude holding and kept on looking @ my instruments instead of the traffic around!!
We flew back to FAFK and experienced a horrible bit of turbulance! As we turned on finals (Runway 05) we were thrown to the left (we were already turning this way) and the wing "jumped" left and left us looking at the mountains at a vertical angle!
Luckily I pulled the wing hard and came out of this terrible turbulance!
We landed (Actually I landed! vhpy ) and we taxied to the hanger and put the trike away!
As I collected my things to leave with the guy (George), who is my dads work bakkie driver! There was an announcement on the radio from an 'experimental delta wing' TCT! I waited for Anton to land and then went over to the hanger to ask him how the flight went!
We chatted for a bit and then I hopped into the front seat of his Cobra (The first time I has seen one, Other than a pic!) and as he pushed it in I steered!!! 8) (!!)
A fantastic morning and lovely flight!
No photos sorry! :(
Regards
Ross
