Cheetah home page?

Postby Jimbo » Wed Oct 15, 2008 7:48 am

Hi all,

Is this still the right url for Cheetah:

http://www.aerotrike.co.za/cheetah/

I only ask because the latest news is dated 2 1/2 years ago (Feb 06) so I was wondering if they had moved to a new site? If my memory serves, I found this url via Google.

I think it is still the official website. I have also noticed that their website is old and outdated. Many of the local manufacturers start with a web page and as soon as they start selling planes the websites are forgotten and years later it is still the same old outdated info available to the public.

It is time the manufacturers start realising that the internet is powerfull and that many potensial customers (including myself) first start looking on the net and I for one loose interest if the website is old and outdated. Look at many of them and you will see that the first prototipe's photos are still used years after the product has been launched. The technical data is often outdated and incorrect and newer developments and models are not even mentioned on their websites.

Come on guys we live in this new era where you can easily share information via your Web pages. Please update them regularly and you will be surprised how big your return will be.

I feel exactly the same- and get quite pi$$ed off if a site is not kept up to date. I sometimes make a trivial change to my own site just to force the "Last updated on...." thingy to be current, so my clients know I've not disappeared.

But thanks for that- maybe they'll read this and put some new stuff on. Is the XLS the latest?

Hi there...

We plead guilty as charged ...

We sincerely apologize for our outdated website and have taken your advise in getting it updated.
We are currently brain storming new ideas and info. If all goes well the updated website should be up and running early next year.

The XLS is still the latest model, only a few adjustments have been made:
1. Ventral Fin has been fitted for better handling
2. New Throttle System for lateral stability
3. Fitted with Dual Control system

We'll keep you posted should there be any additional developments on the Cheetah XLS.

Any compliments, complaints, suggestions etc welcomed.
