Blue tooth earpieces

Postby ZULU1 » Tue May 13, 2008 7:28 pm

Ok, Tumbleweed, Stray Dog, Boer, Porra, Gaylord Fokker and many others, I have buckled to requests for a Blutooth cell phone interface for our gear. I have sourced a really nice device, 250 will be imported to South Africa and the other 250 going to Air Magic Australasia. This is an initial batch as we do not know the market size as yet. They pop into the ear with the headsets over the top. They have 70 hrs standby time. With current exchange rates expect to be about R645,00 ex works including. They will work very with Air Magic, Lynx and other proprietary brands.

Hein De Wet has been showing his sample off around Gauteng. Its a pink one...I think Vodacom sales have gone up as he phones from all over the place. The imported units will be satin black.

We have confirmed orders for over 70 units at present.

Those interested please send me a PM so Melanie can put you on the list. I am very pleased as they alleviate all the cables from other cell phone hook ups. I have yet to find anything as good as this and really simple to use.

Give Hein a call as he may be airborne...

OK, They are designed for use in call centres and so on, they work with the side tone from the intercom, when you talk you hear your own voice. In Air Magic and Lynx the speakers are directly over the unit so they work exceptionally well. Our ordinary chatterbox also works with a cable but it becomes messy on a trike. Plus I was tired of sourcing the cables. This fellow fixes all in one pop. For Buzzcom and Speakease I supply a extension rubber for inside the headcups allowing the unit to fit inside.
For those wishing to use them in a factory environment we can supply a blank plug for our equipment to allow a headset to be used on its own at no charge.

See picture.
