hey all, Morpheus has a garden services company running on the side line, the boss of the company flies in, cuts the grass, gets rid of the weed, puff puff , and even brings breakfast.

I don't know Morpheus - R67 is pretty cheap and we all know that aircraft parts are supposed to be expensive! What are we going to moan about around the pub?

Returning to the subject of tyres, I am looking for two,

Size 16 x 6.5 - 8 does this make any sense ??

It's a typical wide ribbed tyre on a Windlass or Aerotrike.

Thanks gardeners er I mean Aviators

Well for starters, we can moan about why the rest of the industry is so expensive  :D

BTW, Cloud Warrior, how is the training going :?:

Just over 12 hours now and have done two solo cross countries - one to Stompneusbaai and the other to Dwarskersbos this past weekend. Landed on the beach just to the North of town. Great to be able to get away from the circuit! :P Looking forward to rigging my baby this weekend and doing the rest of my training on her. :P

Yep, believe it or not these are the rear wheels on ride-on tractors/mowers. Try any of the Lawnmower suppliers. In the UK they have the Kenda range that have straight grooves. These sell for 16.50 UKPounds, i.e R160. Try the quad bike suppliers. Here is a UK site with some more information. Maybe you can find a local supplier

Hey Morpheus :D :D

Mind you come to think of it with a solid fork lift tyre and nose standing up you have a better angle of attack anyway apart from looking snazzy and different. Just think of the lifespan you would have, possibly a whole 5000 hours instead of 500 :D :D :D

No you idjit, the tyre is not a Turfmaster, it's supplied by Turfmaster. There is no way I would put a tyre with the name Turfmaster on my Flymo II Clipped Grass Special. In fact the tyre name is "Lawn Loader Super plus III" :D :D :D

Actually I can't remember what the real name is. :?:
