Flying instruction needed

Postby arthurl » Wed Sep 07, 2005 2:15 pm

I have a Cubby (tail dragger) microlight and need an instructor to help me finish my MPL. [0*
:? The problem arises in that I live in Swaziland and can rarely get away from here.
[0* :?: Is there a suitably qualified instructor in the area (Nelspruit, Malelane, Komatipoort) who could assist me.
-0< I am also looking for hangarage as my Cubby is currently of no fixed residence.(Actually parked at Secunda waiting for final Authority to Fly)
I'd rather be flying

Enjoy it. It a great little aeroplane.

PS
Try Yoshua at 303squadron.com. He may be able to help or point you in right direction.

PPS
Are you going to do MPL from scratch on tailwheel... If so =D* =D* (^^)

Training

Postby arthurl » Thu Sep 08, 2005 7:22 am

jcvb
I started training on a Cheetah then switched to a Jabiru, mostly for convenience reasons.
Flew solo on the Jab.
I would like to complete my MPL on the Cubby - Wayne Bond at Cato flying school near Durban has been assisting me (when I can get there).

One problem I have is extended periods (up to 4 months) when I am unable to train because of the huge distances I have to travel. Then I sometimes get in only 1 hour on a weekend (weather  )

So I am hoping to find an instructor closer to home.

PPL training is no problem, MPL big problem.
I'd rather be flying

Arthurl didn't Nelair at Nelspruit start training MPL? Brian Young at Pyramid (Barberton) - he has a Cheetah? However finding an instructor down there on the Cubby may be a problem! Try speaking to 303 like jcvb said.
