Postby Jean Crous » Sun Jun 29, 2014 12:26 pm

I need the plug on the rear of a Microair 760 panelmount that I got with my kitfox project. Where do I go for this ?

Jean Tree..Depending on your revision number, it is best to download from the microair website

www.microair.com.au it is advisable to use a seperate intercom, the later versions have a vox intercom. Side tone and mic gain will be an issue if you have unmatched headsets. If using a seperate intercom, the type that does NOT have a radio interface performs via the single headset socket connection. The radio interface type needs careful setting. You will need a rf bead on the power line and advisable on the audio lines. I can send you the fr beads that will be suitable if you provide an address.

It is also advisable to place a 470pf smd cap in 0805 footprint across the headsets microphone also. That wil prevent rf ingress.

Good luck with that installation!

No problem, the offer to supply rf beads to the forum also stands, I have a limitless supply of the correct units. A electronics recycling company based in Ballito removes these from old tech crt monitor screens, they dont recycle them. So i buy a ammo box full for a case of beer...

There are many sizes but i have sorted the correct value units for avionics. Very handy.
