Upgrading of Sky Ranger

Postby Wizzwheels » Mon Jan 14, 2013 6:00 pm

Hi All,

Can anyone point me in the right direction in KZN towards the upgrading of a Sky Ranger with wing-tips/winglets, strobes, landing lights, bundu tyres and cock-pit centre console.

Thanks, (^^)

I had aluminium billet rims made up with oversize Jabiru tyres tubless tyres fitted to my Skyranger. Was the best move I could have done . The original pressed rims were way too soft and bent everytime I landed on a rough strip. Contact my AP who had them made up. He is Henning van den Berg on 0794999353 . He has a contact in pretoria who made up the rims. I kept the original brakes but had to put in a thin spacer and slightly longer bolts on the rims to clear the wheels when fitted. I do not have spats so that was also not a problem.
