Rhino Park Flight school

Postby Leprachaun » Tue Sep 16, 2008 8:03 pm

Hi Folks just thought to let ya all know that the Eagle has landed at Rhino Park.

We , Jan vd Merwe and myself , (Alex Rudd ) with two junior (C) grade instructors do Trike training at Rhino Park .

Our senior instructors have in excess of 3000 flying hours experience and the juniors have done some pretty challenging flying as well (flying the fish and anti poaching in Africa )

We are situated on the South of the N4 (Witbank) highway ( take the Cullinan Rayton offramp turn towards Bapsfontein) and after travelling +- 5km you will find Rhino adventure park on your Left .

The Family can enjoy fishing , picniking , Quads , radio controlled plane while the wanna be pilots get involved in stress free training.

We cater for all types - working , and weekend flyers - you call us we fit in to suit your needs .

Our Present fleet is a new 582 Aquilla , a 503 Aquilla and two 503 Windlass trikes .

You are welcome to contact me for an intro flight or an AP , or your MPL training as well as an instructors rating.

Flight tests and renewals can be arranged .

Hire and fly on our trikes can be arranged by apointment.

Engine replacements / overhauls as well as radio/ intercom repairs can be undertaken by Rotax qualified repair persons .

We do a complete ground school with 6 subjects as well as a restricted radio licence .

We can offer overnight accomodation , fuel on demand and of course dont forget  our special Competition Rusks with fresh coffee early in the morning. puff

At Rhino Park we have 3 axis training as well as Gyrocopters , a restaurant which is presently housed in a tent (fire damaged previous restaurant )and many more .

You dont have to book 3months in advance
- your MPL is a call /- email away

Call 082 56 88 635 Alex or email arudd@virbac.co.za

PS the beers are still in the Fridge for the thirsty passenger.
We love to and coffee is always available on weekends . Radio frequency 135,60.
Ps I have 3 special caps to give away this weekend - You snooze you lose !!

For the newly qualified pilots out there that would like to fly an interesting trip somewhere, pop over to Rhino on the weekend and lets chat about options. Amongst us we have been a whole lot of places, we have ground crew if its needed, we can help you get away from the cabbage patch in a well organized manner.

Alex, I dont know you guys, but wish you all the best with this new venture. You will be an asset to the flying fraternity in that area. We really miss a 'set-up' like yours, here in the Cape Town area.
Go well.

Trikenut ... you underlined the flying the fish part of the sentence, thereby assuming that it was the DVD production "Flying the Fish" - those guys are not the only ones to have ever flown the fish ##
