We have a team of 8 Microlites here in AbuDhabi that specialise in the snake, smoke and pyros routines. Never seen that anywhere in the world. good to know SA it catching up. It should be an airshow routine....

Hey there guys- thanks for the comments; we debuted the snake tube at Tzaneen. Its 200m long and about 30cm in diameter. So far I do not feel it too much behind me, although I can feel the 'jump' when I release it. One just has to watch the tail end as it can hang quite far below your line of flight...

Apparantly it also seems to smooth out the turbulence a bit- when Steve formated on me in a practice he noticed that he was moving around a lot in the turbulence whilst I was relatively stable.

Have sent you a pm Free Spirit. Have seen film of your show- absolutely fantastic! =D*

Great show again Jay - loved the tube. I guess we need to go longer than 200m now... This banner is about 50m so will tie a couple together and see how they fly :P (thanks to Pete for the pic www.planekrazy.co.za)
