Thanks for sharing Demon, congrats to Aviation Engines, that is VERY good service. To be honest though I don't know if anyone has had bad service from them, parts can be expensive sometimes but the service has been good.

I doubt car manus would have replaced the engine? Perhaps a rebuild.

Loads of lessons there Demon. Not only the equipment side, but from the taking note of the signs too and acting accordingly. Glad to hear all safe and sound.

Well done to the Rotax guys and especially the SA agent Aviation Engines. I am glad that they support motors that were not originally supplied by them in SA - it is a maturity that other manufacturers/suppliers need to take note of - one I will mention by name - Garmin - they suck with their international warranties.

Great airmanship in doing everything by the book Demon, meaning, making sure that all your paperwork and services was done as precribed and within the time specified. Lessons are learnt again

For Aviation Engines !!!!

Hope to see you back in the air soon 8)

Hi Demon

I agree wholeheartedly. Niren and Vinesh are the best thing since sliced bread, as far as I am concerned. I have ordered plenty parts from them and they are always helpfull, polite, and efficient. Well done Aviation Engines ! :D
