Hi Demon,

Could you possibly tell me the Serial Number of your 912S that failed? Was it really a 912S or was it a 912ULS. They are the same, but are made in different batches and have different serial number ranges. The Service Bulletin SB-912-051UL applies to all engines after S/N 5645990 and SB-912-051 after S/N 4923263.

Was your engine supplied by P&M Aviation with your GT450, or did Aviation Engines supply it separately?

Would appreciate any insight you could give me.

Rob

Gee, thanks. My S/N is 5646906 - 290th engine after yours! I'll check my magnetic plug regularly as per SB-912-051UL.
