Yes, it was a beautiful day and we could fly right against those mountains. Normally they are to be approached with great trepidation. Last year, almost the same time of the year, I think it was Francois and myself who flew against the Paarl Hottentots-Holland mountains equally close, right up to the tunnel.

Great flying. The past weekend it has been blowing - perhaps the last of the winter flying last week.

I am green with envy....my rear is itching to fly........... :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I have only been able to fly up the Vally once with a rude cameraman from Turkey...did helshoogte on the same trip...
