Microlight kit plane

Postby Skcoast » Wed Jun 12, 2019 10:01 am

Good day all

I have looked high and low for companies that sell Microlight kit planes but only found one tanarg or something lol and its crazy expensive.

When you look at the design and cost factor to build it . Can it really be that expensive.

I know the engine is big bucks!!!
But surly the frame work can’t be R300k

Or is it even worth buying a kit plane ?

Im just spit balling here

Thanks all just asking for interest sake .

If you say "Microlight kit plane ".......could you be a bit more specific as to what sort of kitplane you have in mind ?
We produce aircraft kits , an 80% scale copy of the Piper Supercub. Our kits are quite comprehensive and priced less than what you stated vhpy

Trikes can be bought complete, registered and flying for as low as R25 000 why would anyone want to spend 300K on a kit and then still fight with CAA to have it documented.
