Not good news unfortunately. NEVER pay agents a deposit. There is a long history with this chap. He will get jail time if the okes bothered to open a case. An agent who did the same with buffalo got 8 years in jail.

...to put it bluntly....he just took R300k deposit for a Cesna from a student of mine...new SA technique...yoh...and has not delivered...THE NICE GUYS ARE JUST ACCEPTING THIS CRAP...THIS GUY MUST BE JAILED

Hope the deal happens and he gets the plane otherwise it's goodbye deposit ie if the experiences that everyone else has had is the same.

Never pay deposits to agents. Especially bible punching, dubious history, no fixed street business address, no reputable referrals, doesn't fly or own and aircraft or own a hangar opportunists.

Can't understand how someone gives a 300k deposit to an agent but won't consider getting an attorney's advice for 2 grand doing a private sale. Issues of suspect registered owner- other partner or spouse unawares, log books etc.

Where does this oke advertise from?
