Gopro mounts

Postby wackomedic911 » Tue Aug 29, 2017 10:59 am

Trike pilots,
Lets see and hear about your gopro mounts on your trikes?
I am quite interested in mounts on washout struts, but cant seem to find a decent one?
I am willing to 3D print them and even sell them on if i can get some decent ideas, or even a stl file if someone is ahead of me?
Lets see pictures of those mounts? (^^)

I made one that fits the profile tube on an Aquilla a while back. It wasn't for a GoPro but for some action cam. It may fit. Drop me a PM and I'll email the model in either parasolid, step, or IGS format.

Alternatively, I could run a few on our CNC mill if time isn't an issue. (Paying jobs come first)

Hey bud please do, the stl you sent me makes the object a bit smaller than a match head so I would be interested in seeing your finished one?

So I am currently printing cable tie gorpo mounts in a Nylon alloy.
I have one printed in ABS on DLO my instructor's aircraft and it works quite well, but the Nylon is a lot stronger and harder, so will see how that goes?
Will post some pics when its done printing!
