Video of a German UL Fly-In featuring of one of the new UL Helicopters (starting minute 2:10 )built under the new German UL Class specifications (450 Kg. MTOW).
The modell has still got a VVZ (temporary restricted certification) and is developed in Germany and uses the 6 Cylinder D-Motor from Belgium.
Sadly, one of the participants crashed after take off (not a Heli) and died.

Re: Ultralight Helicopter at German UL Fly-IN
Interesting but I would not fly that thing in turbulent weather or try any tricks with it. Those rotors are way to close together and I have never liked a twin rotor system! But otherwise a nice looking machine.
