Air Magic / Paul Lintott/ Complaints

Postby Blue Max » Fri Nov 28, 2014 11:21 am

On 27 October 2014 I made a payment to Air Magic into their Standard Bank acc. to the amount of R8120.
That was for complete chatterbox system, condor helmits and V rabbit Raptor which were ordered a week earlier.
A month has expired since my payment with no result.
After numerous phone calls and mails done and send by myself ( and by Madman who will be assisting with the installation) and with no answer, I come to belief something serious is wrong.
Air Magic does not answer their phone at home or work or at any other number mentioned on their invoice.
Neither do they reply on mail or cell messages.
One will expect a business to be be available to their clients specially this time of the year.
Hopefully Air Magic will come to light and if not it will only go one way.!!
Take note, I will inform of any positive development in this regard.

by ZULU1 » Wed Nov 19, 2014 10:00 am

We have just ported our email so the airmagic@telkomsa.net doesnt work but so use rabbit1@telkomsa.net

Been working at Ricmond but send it on, no problem.Centrifugal force in pure Physics does not exist, however this does not apply to Taxi drivers..

Madman, I know your suffering bru.. :x

I've made a payment on the 22nd of October 2014 for a condor helmet, and like the magic in Air Magic, you don't see anything happening...a bit worrying.
I've also made several calls to Paul, Melanie and their land line, emails and sms's and up until today 1 December 2014 - no helmet...

they promised me just now the will dispatched it on Wednesday the 3rd of December. Will post any further actions regarding this ongoing problem.
one question only - customer service??

Luckily we always have hope...although without my Air Magic helmet...

Good luck to all future customers.

Rafiek, i emailed the ta number..we have been struggling to get liners..they are military units which is a crewmans helmet used by tank crews. We are collecting a few tomorrow so that will help out somewhat.

So will ship later this week.

I Wonder... On the 28 October 2014, I have ordered, paid for a Nomad Headset, Paul acknowledge receipt of the funds and delivery via post-net would be in two weeks. Since then I have tried to contact Paul and company on all their known numbers, been at the workshop twice with no results. After numerous attempts I finally spoke to his very unhappy workshop staff(They have really valid reasons to be so unhappy), none of them knew anything about my headset!

So I would really like to know what is going on, and when will I get my headset?

Not happy with Paul and his excuses.
Only half of my order was delivered.
1. Myself and Rafiek explained to Paul that the chatterbox must have a port for the voice and music cable (RCA input on chatterbox where the go-pro plugs in for the comms chatter and music .) The chatterbox came without it and Rafiek will now have to get some-one to make it work.!!!
2. No V Rabbit Raptor which I paid R1250 for was included in the delivery.
3 No helmits were included which were invoiced for R2900.

Now I ask you; would a telephone call to explain the absence of these items not have been the appropriate thing to do.??.. But no word from Air Magic>>

I will keep you all up to date with the quality of service from Air Magic and will inform when everything is delivered.

Hi Blue Max

Me and a friend of mine are also struggling with Paul
We each ordered headsets with chatterbox and icom radio months ago

Got at least half of ordered goods, so asked for refund for goods not delivered
Its been more than a month ago, no luck getting our money back only a lot of excuses

Its a real pity, because the product is great.
Im fed up!!!!!!

I saw Paul replied on the forum to Rafiek on Monday that they will collect the liners for the helmets the next day, which was Tuesday 2nd Dec 2014

They were supposed to dispatched my helmet on Wednesday 3 Dec,(which I've been waiting for since 22nd Oct) when Melanie phoned and explained they gonna collect the liners the next day, on 4 Dec.... what the heck? Really confusing and frustrated at this stage!!
They promised to dispatched it on Friday the 5th of December...

I can't wait to hear their next excuse.

Let our hopes fly high!!
