A really nice wind-free and low-cloud-free day is developing for the 2014 MISASA "Shootout" at KittyHawk!

Here is WindGuru's view of KittyHawk for the weekend.

For those staying over, we are working to have the low-cloud on Sunday disappear . . . . please be patient!

There is AVGAS available @ FAKT

For MOGAS the chaps must arrange with mates that have vehicles there. Fuel arrangements can be a logistical nightmare, so we are not even going there ;-)

To my fellow Aviators, the moment is nigh.... (!!)

From the Misasa Exco, we hope you will enjoy the day tomorrow which I have no doubt will be a successful one at the "Shootout's" new venue. The weather predictions look favourable to me with light N-E winds forecast with scattered cloud. (you are welcome to call me on oh sevn two eight 23 234 one for an "on site" weather/vis report tomorrow....I will be at FAKT from 5AM) PLEASE CHECK THE WEATHER!!

Please fly/drive safely and make yourself familiar with the previously published plans and procedures around the event. The circuit will be busy with a variety of aircraft travelling at different speeds so please be vigilant! Eyes outside the cockpit, be accommodating, short and sharp on the radio and follow ATC instructions on 120.65 carefully. We are expecting over 90 aircraft tomorrow..... :)

I will see you thugs on the Apron. (^^) Bring the GEES folks...gonna be a great day at Kitty Hawk!

Enjoy! (!!)

Indeed John, bit of a front moving past Gauteng today, should allow flyable conditions tomorrow. Holding thumbs! (!!)
