Kitty Hawk Fun Rally Saturday 17 August 2013

Good morning Fellow-Aviators

Kitty Hawk will be hosting the annual SAPFA fun rally for GYROCOPTERS on Saturday the 17th August 2013. BUT WAIT! We also welcome FIXED WING aircraft to compete. This will be run by SAPFA using the same format that has become popular with fixed wing pilots.

09H00 Fun Rally Briefing
10H00 First aircraft off
14h30 Prize Giving

how will classes be seperated? I cant imagine a little cheetah going up against an RV or pilon racer --- :(

Unless your trike is the lighter than air variety vhpy ,
I'm sure you are most welcome.

As I understand it , the FUN-RALLY is more about accurate flying and "outside" observations (answering/recognising landmarks), than speed and time trials. - Thats the pilon time trails, not a fun-rally.
