Not everybody is online every day and not everybody reads all the forum threads, so it is not supprising. I know a lot of pilots that do not even use the internet so I think it will take a while beofre everybody realises the value of holding the meetings online. If the vote line is kept open for a week or so I am sure a lot more people will participate and the votes will be more representative. Maybe the admins can send a pm to all the members reminding them to come and vote.

Lone Ranger, be fair ...

Hundreds could not attend the meeting because of the nice weather. We were flying ...

I got stuck in traffic at an accident and by the time I could logon, it was to late, voting closed.

I agree with Stefan, to get an better idea, let the vote run for a week.

I agree. Timeline of 32 minutes is just too short. Traffic, weather and family responsibilities are all contributing to a poor attendance!

There is also no reason for an online meeting to be held in the same time span as a in person one. Lets stretch this out for a couple of days and when a reasonable amount of time has lapsed then close the vote and the rest of the pack will have to live with the decisions taken at that time.

Hello Loanranger, not being a member I did not participate.
I feel your pain though as I am also trying to get our residents participation to stop the establishment of a guesthouse in our complex.
There is a huge amount of comment and encouragement, but when the chips are down & its time to put their money where their mouth is - you are alone.
Personal one on one chats, telephone calls, e mails, sms's ($$) ($$) ($$) ($$) ($$) all a huge waste of my time.
Apathy is rife.
I don't believe you will ever win with the on line idea, those guys that did participate will not next time.
I have tried using the vote button on E mails, guys think they have read the E mail but just type Yes/No, or could not take the time just to click the button.
UN believable
