To me it looks like FUNDI came to the party and can now deliver the goods. I do not see the need to burden MISASA with more admin when the Aeroclub was supposed to do that in the first place.

I voted yes based on my experience with this renewal.

I voted NO even though paying through Fundi is easy.

It is not the easy paying part that bothers me. It is the mismanagement of the system by AeCSA that is the problem.

1. Misasa was supposed to benefit from Fundi on membership details, which did not realize in 2012. Hence no magazines.
2. After wasting 25 minutes at an AeCSA AGM trying to explain and promising the ease of use, the "print out" of your own card option was again not available.
3. I stand by what was said at the AGM, don't launch a public system unless it is proven.

Today's email from AeCSA to me, apologising for not being able to print my own card, confirms that AeCSA cheap talk at the AGM was a waste of our manhours (for those who went through the effort to attend).

F%cking wake up AeCSA !!! All we ask for is a system that pays easy (which it does) AND A SYSTEM which starts providing all the promised fringe benefits (WHICH FAILED MISSERABLY SO FAR).

Have a look above at the extraordinary useless AEROCLUB payment page. Not able to login, not able to pay, MISASA please tell me what to do.

The surname ....well that has been mine as long as I can remember. The membership number .... from the card of 2011 and 2010 - am still waiting for my 2012 card.

Not sure why you cant logon...I have not heard of any other guys who could not do so. Pop John Boucher a PM and I'm sure he can give you assistance or else call the AeCSA offices tomorrow and find out why you cannot log on?

Misasa's EXCO will be having a meeting on Thu evening to discuss what has been an incredibly frustrating and divisive issue. I hope to be able to give you all some feedback, and some concrete answers from that on Fri.

I recieved the following e mail from AeCSA yesterday:

I imagine all who used the Fundi System so far will be recieving this same mail.... The Certificate can be printed...looks to be of a size that fits into the Orange NPL Booklet.

Sorted out Gert's problem.

Something else I have noticed and this causes chaos with reconciling payments - the reference number being used!!! Please use the PAYMENT REFERENCE and not the sales reference...

For those members I have contacted either by e-mail or cellphone and responded in a co-operative and friendly manner - I say thank you!!!

There is however a but... always a but.... there are those individuals that question the mere fact that I am trying to UPDATE his record with the relevant info - almost abrasive! For you sir I say - RAASA wont renew your ATF or Licence just with the proof of an e-mail address or cellphone number alone. Also the effort to get the mags to you because your address field says "not set" and the language that goes with it. And I don't think its bloody funny 'cause I'm using my time and stealing from my business to get it sorted!
