I did my license on trikes whe I was 17 (2003); flew my dads' Raptor (ZU - AUY ). Also did my conversion the aquilla, then dad sold the trike (2005) and bought a Bantam B22J ( ZU - DDO ) , did my conversion (before him (!!) so he had to ask me for a flip in his own plane!! ) I am currently doing my Engineering Degree (Electrical & Electronic) @ the North West University (Potchefstroom) ! So I only get to fly on holidays and weekends whe I'm home!

We do Aero towing of Hang Gliders - Currently at Aviators Paradise just south of Brits.

CKL is an Airborne Wizard with a 582 Motor with the towline attaching to a mechanism running thought the hollow prop axle.

Yeah - some are to stingy, some does not have the money, but most of us do it for the pure joy of free flying.

Anayway I joined as from a TUG point of view, not as from a HG point of view. Some of us are actually Bi-Wingual or more.

Welcome Tobie

Your towing operation seems very interesting.
Tell us more about it, what air speed do you get while towing, what happens to the rope after release , how high do you go , how long does it take, ect.

Welcome Freddy , make sure you pass!
