Daarsy. Luckily I now have BIG panniers, so I can take bedding and clothes and tie downs and pegs and toiletries and Dionne Dionne is going to look like a kangaroo in a pouch in the pannier.

Re: THE MICROLAND THREAD..."Home of the Tailwinds"
I think the kindle may have to be sacrificed for the sake of a sleeping bag.
Is Steve Bosch place savannah lodge on the are chart? I want to put waypoints in gps which Sharon gave me for Xmas. I have finally mounted it on my instrument pod. All I need to do now is find out how to use it!
Really looking forward to a weekend away flying with you guys.
Is fuel available there?
Cheers Frank

Steve phoned me and told me that the Chalets have bedding. So, if you are in a chalet you can bring Kindle.Frank Smallwood wrote:I think the kindle may have to be sacrificed for the sake of a sleeping bag.

To get there and back one tank is good enough for me but if we fly north on Sunday morning I will also need extra fuel. We will make a plan.Frank Smallwood wrote:Is fuel available there?
Yes, it is going to be great.
Are you joining the Swarkops fly-by, 11th May? See the thread under "events"

Always remember Newton's 5th law...
The decibal level of snoring is directly proportional to the amount of rum consumed.
I'll put you on the list for a tent chom....convieniently located at the end of the runway.
Only 4 tents left guys.....I did say ALL WELCOME....Rhino horns, Chaingangers, anyone else?
