Won't be able to join you to Zwartkop, my radio out of order. Been working on the problem for weeks and no success. Do I have to cancel the clearance with Zwatrkop AFB or just stay away? So sorry to bail now.

Why not fly with someone else who can do the radiowork for both of you?

Guys, I won't be able to make it :(
Alex is concerned about the weather around 8am. Expected gusting winds, and so far there's been 2 confirmed accidents as a result.
I'd love to join, but I'm without a ride, and it's safety first.

Sorry to hear D2O. Respect your decision though.
Slight wind predicted, but not bad at all.

Thanks to the organisers! Especially you Mcfly! (^^)

Pity we all had to make a dash before the conditions got too hectic! (it took us 1H10 min to get back to Cullinan! )

My appologies to the Yellow Quick who I held up on Bravo... My radio was up to tricks I'm afraid and I did not hear ATC Instructions for a bit! Sorry Mate!

All in all a great experience for me. I learnt a hell of a lot.

See you guys next year!

Thanks Les, lekka fly in!

I arrived (literally) just as all the trike guys were getting out of there...

I only got to meet Pierre (TV Man) and someone else that asked me to taxi the Jabi to where the other fixed wings were..

Note to self... Flying in with the Trike guys means being at the fly in destination at 0800 latest...

Landed back at Rhino with a flat tyre... Despite a full pre-flight at FASK... Got the juices going

Thanks for a lekka outing. Pics will follow.

I think we passed each other @ pinedene station @ 6000 ft- sometime after 9am - you were routing west- me east :) :)
