Funny how quickly they phone you when you do something wrong huh!!Sound like they need to be invited for tea too when they fall short of what they are required to do from tax paying pilots.

I have only received excellent service from RAASA. Those lucky enough to live close enough to take the paperwork there personally only have to wait for about 20 minutes to get everything done. The only bad part is the Havard Cafe at Rand. Drinks are expensive and of course you can never have only just one :(

Maybe flying in would be better then the temptation for a beer might be a little less vhpy

Speedy,

I am sure this is an isolated case. Normally RAASA are exceptional in their service. In all my dealings with them, ie. ATF and licence renewal, their service was prompt and very professional. vhpy vhpy vhpy I suggest you give them a call again and explain your situation/frustration again.

Hope you come right soon. (^^) (^^)

Hi Speedy sorry to hear about the time delay. Must say I have only had excellent service from them , Maybe a call after a few days to ensure that they had received them may be the way to go in future , Glad to hear you received it after all , Leprachaun.

Hi All.

Not sure why there was such a long delay in getting your documents back to you.
I try and ensure that my team keeps to a very strict time line in processing applications with all the required info.
Obviously if there are errors or missing documentation then this will be returned or delayed until we received outstanding info.
If anybody has any delays or problems especially bad service please inform Willem or myself ASAP to correct the situation immediately.
The best way is to e-mail us or phone us.
Unfortunately our e-mail and internet was offline for about a week, due to telkom lines, this seems to be back on track for now.
As I have stated before "Don,t judge us on our mistakes, but judge us on how we correct them"
If there are any suggestions on how we can improve our service we look forward to hearingfrom you.

Regards
Pierre

Went today wiff all my papiertjies. Website lists all requirements. Make sure you have aeroclub membership. Other than that monkey see monkey do as far as the list goes.... Very comprehensive...

In 12.05 out 13:03.

Checked the papiertjie. NO night flying. Demmit. Ja thought it was too good to be true. Readied for the usual s062 s062 s062 s062 s062 s062 s062 i had become acustomed to at CAA (sadly) ## ## ## ## ## ## , but it never came, simply new corrected papirtjie 10min later....

why don't you get one 3G card for these specific times, then at least you can still pick up emails

HI Morph.

We are preparing to move to our new offices, Still At Rand Airport just accross the Taxi way at TAC.
We will have an I Burst for this puporse and hopefully a back up generator as well to minimise downtime in case of future Eishkom failures.

Regards
Pierre
