Aiden, thank you for everything you have done to get so many people flying, affordably. I am/ was one of them.
Everytime I see a AQUILLA now, I'll spare a thought.

Thanks you.

John,
I am in Windhoek presently, and unable to attend. Please convey my condolence to Lynn and Denise.

Met him once at Contermanskloof Cape Town. Had many chats over the phone about wing issues. I'm shocked by the news and wish his family well. RIP pal You will be sorely missed.

This is devastating news. I can't believe this gentle man is with us no more. His name will live on as a founding father in the history of microlighting. Farewell Aidan. It has been a privilege to have known you.

I know that there is a wake for Aidan this Saturday (04 April 2009) at Emoyeni (between Cato Ridge and Camperdown - KZN).

If some-one has more detail please post it here; thanks.

Firstly my sincere condolences to the family. Aiden was always friendly, polite and helpful and his passion for aviation was obvious. A great loss for aviation as well.

Aiden,

Rest in peace sir.
Condolences to your family and all those at Solowings on the loss of a gentleman, husband, father and aviator.

The aviation industry for those who have known you and those of us who have not, will surely miss you now and in the future.
