Oom Aartappel & antie Sweetpotatoe are safe in sunny SA.

Thanks Dreman55 for the kind offer of assistance, you have a pm.

They arrived at 07h00 this morning & the bulletin board had me cooling my heels at the wrong exit but we finally hooked up. Naturally I lost my parking ticket & we had a further delay.

Naturally we had problems with hiring a car as well as getting Bobby, the loveliest cat out of customs, it took Oom & myself to get very agressive before action even though the paperwork was completely in order.

We came back to my place & they freshened up & had some refreshments before leaving for the hot spot. They are on the road as I type & I imagine we will have plenty of interaction with this great guy in the future.

Safe journey Jerry & I will definitely be there for the housewarming party. vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy

Hi RV,

Many thanks for all your help. I am sure it is much appreciated by Jerry & Babs. Nice to come to a new country and be helped by a fellow aviator.

Well done mate.

I am also planning at being at the house warming.

Cheers (^^) (^^)

Len, you'll have a 'slightly' longer time getting there in the gyro than a Boeing! vhpy
Although  ... It is a Sycamore, so it's nice and Comfy!
Welcome to Sunny SA Oom, Tannie and dog food! (The cat)

True, it is more comfy inside, however... Easyplan says, at 70mph average it will take 14hours and 32minutes and I will use 282 litres. (**)
Thats one-way!

Definately in a Boeing it will be!!
