Looks like we only have 12 very experienced microlight pilots in this Forum. I only see 49 votes where are all the pilots?

There are quite a few forum members who don't post all that much, some may feel reluctant to mix it up with the "pros" or "topguns". There is a thread going right now with such an example.

Arange the memberlist by total No posts, in descending order and you'll see the trend.

Cheers.

Welcome Vlambek and good luck with your first solo. Great sport. I share your regret - I should have started years ago too.

You know Vlambek, sometimes it's better to do these things when you are more mature. I only got into superbikes when I was 39. In a way I don't think I would be here if I had done it when I was 19. The same is true for flying and besides I can afford it now.

Anyway, enough philosophying, welcome to both flying and this forum. :D 8)

Welcome Vlambek (in English does this mean "fire mouth" :D )

Judging by the previous posts, a lot of us have only gotten into flying after having "gone around the block" a few times, me included.

I am on the verge of buying a 125 offroad bike for my son whose 15 and I to play around on in the bush, but I'm sure we'll end up buying a second one.

I see you are located in Durban, which field are you training at ?

Cheers.

My bet is on Buurman to be next though! Go Buurman!
