Flips while on trip to Gauteng...

Postby ForensicFlyer » Tue Oct 31, 2006 9:47 pm

Hey all!

Just thought you'd wanna know this...

While in JHB the other day, I was (again) fortunate to fly in two amazing aircraft...

The one is well-known on here - old RV4Ker's RV...

This was SOOO cool... We took off from Rand just before sundown.

The flight was fantastic! I was amazed at what this thing could do! It goes like a bomb!

So - maximum respekt for RV's man!

Then, I flew home with 1-Time in an MD-80...

And sat in the Jump-seat ALL THE WAY!

That was SUPER cool! Sorry RV4Ker - faster than your aerie!

There are some pics below...

Flying...

Postby ForensicFlyer » Wed Nov 01, 2006 10:30 pm

Heeeeheee! I sincerely hope you didn't ask me to fly!

I NEVER heard anything about control!

As far as I could tell, your headset was acting up a bit at times...

I could hear when you spoke to me, but when you spoke to control I could hear nothing - just faint crackling... I could see you mouth moving though...

At times I spoke to you and you didn;t reply, so I am sure something might have been wonky...

Damn! It would be SO funny if you toild me to take control, coz I never heard anything like that, and NEVER touched the stick!

Mwaaaahaaahaaaa! Now THAT is a funny cockpit moment for the forum!

I can just IMAGINE you sitting, happily with your arms folded scheeming "heck, this guy don't fly too sh!t!" while I am sitting in the back thinking "heck, this guy don't fly too sh!t!" as well!

Oh well - I guess the RV is more stable than we thought!?

PLEEEZE tell me you didn't hand control over to me!

You cannot UNDERSTAND how funny that would be!

We gotta go fly together again... That "auto pilot" is just amazing ,yes?

Again - ROFLMAO!!!!!!
