We will bring some fritter mix as well.

If you want copies of the photos I would suggest you bringing a memory stick....a big one.

Oom Polla, I will bring the one (8GB) I borrowed from you....sorry I kept it for so long..

Looks like we will be able to FLY & braai this time.
I am depressed to miss the photo and braai session. :( Enjoy, I will ensure that the Kruger's photo contribution reach all members when I am back in SA. I am suffering from serious withdrawal symptoms here in Singapore :?

Thanks to all who could attend the braai and Botswana Fly Away reunion at Microland. Especially to those that flew in from Ingwe and others that brought projectors, memory sticks, DVD's, food and fire making stuff. We had three projectors going continuously for the whole morning, with people making copies in the background. Unfortunately for some the conversation was dominated with reminissing about the trip.....sorry to those that could not join in. There was even talk about an anual repeat.

Missed you Andries. Can we see the pictures Kevin took please. They will most probably be the best of the lot.

Mervyn wants to do a Barberton fly away this winter before the Africa Cup. He will let us know what dates are available.

According to Mervyn's mail:

For Barberton fly-away. ETD first light 10th July 2015 from Microland, via Carolina (Fred Sturgess') to return via Arnot, first light Sunday 12 July 2015. All welcome especially novices. Your bookings for camping or bungalows are with Brian Young, pyramidflight@gmail.com. See http://www.pyramidflight.com/

There will be flights over Gods Window, Numbi Hotel breakfast, Kruger Western/Southern border and around the Barberton Valley. Great fun flying with perfect weather at this time of the year.

Barberton Fly-Away

Since the pyramid accommodation is full we are staying about 5Km away at Jock of The Bushveld chalets. The wife don't want to stay in a tent.
I understand they also have a microlight landing strip and accommodation available.

Contact details : Jock of the Bushveld chalets. >> bookings@jockaccommodation.co.za

Looking forward to my first long distance trip.

I thought about alternative accommodation, but didn't want to be isolated from everyone else....

Have you got that side of it organized Carel?

I also thought about it but hopefully we can all get together at pyramid and just sleep at the other place.

Yes, but how do you get from A to B? Have you got ground support? I won't have any. :(

Thanks Al. I am on the waiting list for a chalet at Barberton. -0< All were taken within days. :o

Took my son and his gf for a flight yesterday. Her first time in a Microlight. On joining overhead she said "and now"...."we are just descending to land"....."are we going to crash"....."no, I have to reduce power and dive to go down so that we can land"..."ok" vhpy I must admit, the maneuver did result in us loosing altitude rather rapidly. ## ..She is a honey (^^)
