I owe mine to the late Dave Bekker from SAFlyer.. he stayed with me a few years back over the Virginia air show period. Anyway he overheard a technical communication between myself and my chief enjinear (gardening) in elevated tones not resembling the queens english.....anyway at dinner, the conversation drifted to the subject of my new trikes registration. Dave promptly stated "it has to be ZULU1..and not the other one" and that was that! Next registration is to be ZU- LUT or Zulu2...

Boy did i suffer talking to the tower..Lima uniform india is a mouthful..

I enjoyed playing golf when I was in school (my parents paid for it); now I don’t play any more because it is too expensive (my parents do not want to pay for it anymore…wonder why :( :?: ). There is a golf ball manufacturer called “Top Flite”…so I just changed the name to top-flight.

I used to carry a six pack of the 275ml Milo in the cartons. I always had 6 in the flying bag. Great before and after flight especially if leaving early I missed breakfast.
That was in the days when a carton of Milo was cheaper than a 375 Windhoek!
The avatar comes from how I looked before beer became cheaper than milo in cartons and my well toned six pack turned into a crate :(

My surname sounds like pat-two (Pitout).

Also I am the younger of twins.. We were at hostel during schooling and getting our names / faces right was a mission for most people. We ended up being Pat-One (my older twin boet) and Pat-Two (me).

Names like Putu and Patat was also bandied about but I like Pat-Two the most.
