ZU-ECX Maiden Flight

Postby Thunderboy » Fri May 26, 2006 9:20 am

Well it's been a long wait but this morning my new baby flew for the first time. Trevor Davies was test pilot.
She is the first Thunderbird to have to new Stitz covering on tail surface, flaps and ailerons and he said he could not believe the improvement during flight.

Hopefully I will get to fly Tuesday when my instructor is back from holiday.

Hopefully will finish up my license soon now and be seeing some of you guys in the sky pretty soon

Jeez, Thunderboy,

Griff had a posting a while ago about how heavy on fuel the Thunderbirds appeared to be , but needing that size of fuel container is a bit extreme (See pic 2)

Congrats on the new aerie, I wish you many happy safe flying in her. Another thing to celebrate tommorow when I see you and Banbury Cross. (^^) (^^) (^^) (^^)

BTW did you get the order for CLU-less's hat as well? Embroider CLU-less on the back please.
