I had the total flight time at 3 hours 13 min including 3 outlandings at Klip, Vereeniging and Deneysville. Basic trip for Fiz and me was FABA-Petit-FASI-Ergo-land Klip-land Vereeniging-follow da river to the damwall-land Deneysville-back home direct via Klip-Ergo-FASI etc. If I remember correctly the computer said I burned 44 litres with 2-up but I can't remember exactly.

To the Chain Gang, thanks for having us and apologies for my quick departure after Deneysville. I suspected we would have a bumpy trip back and Slap Chips or not, I've got serious tennis elbow this morning after that work-out  Wat is dit met die stuk tussen Springs-Petit? ##
But the next time you need someone to find the Deneysville runway for you I'll be happy to oblige (^^)

We should meet up again soon!

Yeah Jaco, you guys missed out on some lekker coffee and interesting landings at Circus

We still stayed and had a chat with Steve at Circus, thank you Steve for the nice cuppa since the Tent was closed

Slap chips..relax on the bar,I was so relaxed that the bar escaped me while I was changing freq..my pax and student Pilot Jacques caught a fright and tried to catch it  I told him to relax,I left the bar and showed him..check..it still flies with out my help

We got back after 11am,it was a thermalicious roller coaster ride all the way home..most interesting thing going home was seeing alot of white butterflies as high as 7000ft amsl =D*

Haha,as for that Springs area..I too would like to know what happens there as well,it is always very bumpy...something about the converging winds #-0

Alpha can explain,Gary..please assist ##

Thanx for the ground support..haha,we would have still been looking for the airfield ##

As for fuel...2 up I used a total of 40l with my Aquilla 503,total flying time was 3hrs35min ##

Guys, Sat weather looks dodgy with the cold front pulling away to the SE of the country. DBP belongs to Stef this weekend so I'm out for Sunday as well. Have fun guys (!!)

If you are planning to fly to Steve, please let him know today? (^^)

Steve Bosch: Oh eight two seven 72 seven 4 eight six

I'll be spending most of the weekend getting my son ready for "big school" (^^)

Holy crap there's a lot of stuff still to buy (**)

Byron, from what I understand Steve's spot is in the vicinity of Roodeplaats DAM.

BTW, are you into cycling? There use to be a BTB on thehubsa, but then that forum went bellyup!
